Inphynix: Sensors and Instruments for Industry and Learning Physics of electricity, magnetism, temperature and heath

INPHYNIX develops sensors and instrumentation tools for the measurement of electromagnetic waves, electric field, magnetic flux, temperature and heat.

Our magnetometers and electrometers provide new teaching capabilities for high schools, colleges, universities and engineers schools looking on improving studies of electromagnetic laws, such as Maxwell’s equations and scalar physical quantities.
Also INPHYNIX develops his innovative technology with industrial partners concerned by electromagnetic field metrology, geological prospection, biomedical, non-destructive control in production or gamers market.

The team

INPHYNIX

Thierry Salley, founder associate, general manager of the company, 20 years in industry (small and mass production), 15 years freelance for consulting and industry project management.

Didier Robbes, founder associate, Scientific Director of the company, physicist and then professor in electronics, attached to the GREYC – UMR 6072, laboratory of CAEN University of South Normandy and ENSICAEN. He isnowfullydelegated in Inphynix.

Maria Timofeeva, Ph. D. Student in electronics, comes from St Petersburg Technical University with her Master of Sciences in electronic and physics. The Ph. D. work deals with very low impedance and low noise amplifiers with differential current inputs and output for high sensitivity magnetic sensors.

Frédéric Dijoux, Engineer in electronics, has a rich experience in industry of semiconducting devices and applications (small and mass production). He is especially in charge of industrial processes and contact with industrial partners of Inphynix.

Sebastien MORTEAU, Sales engineer, is in charge of the didactic equipments sales improvement. His technical background, acquired within 10 years in high tech company after an Electronic master from the university of Caen, is a great advantage for his function.

Equipments for hands on session :
Based on magnetic and electric sensors, these flexible tools will help you to improve your practice sessions about electromagnetic fundamental laws, like Maxwell's equations and basic vector algebra (vector projection and dot product, line integral and Ampere's theorem, vector cross product and Biot & Savart law, surface integrals, flux and Stokes’s formulae…).

It will be also your technical assistant and animate your course for physic phenomena demonstration.


In a second line, INPHYNIx is focusing on industrial partnership regarding the development and industrialization of the sensors for the following applications :

  • electric and magnetic field metrology
  • geological survey and prospection of minerals
  • temperature, heat and general sensing using micro bolometers and calorimeters 
  • Biomedical instruments (non contacting sensors for cardiograph, encephalograph,...) 
  • non destructive evaluation and in line testing ( non metallic and mixed materials, polymers,...)
